The 3000-year-old Alto de la Cruz archaeological site is located in Cortes (Navarra). It was first excavated by Blas de Taracena, and later on, by Maluquer de Motes, and it is a clear example of the transition from Bronze Age to Iron Age.
The permanent exhibition at Cortes Castle (Navarra) explains this transition and shows some of the pieces found in different excavations, through a grid structure similar to the one used by archaeologists at excavations.
